INFORMATION MONITOR SPORTS AND MOVEMENT

The Getting Big Sportily Tool includes a questionnaire to analyze the children's exercise patterns. With the questionnaire you, as a subject teacher, gain insight into the current exercise behavior of the children.

This allows you to develop targeted interventions, increasing the impact with the same effort.

Exercise behavior during school hours

Several questions are asked to gain insight into exercise behavior during school hours. This covers topics such as exercise during school hours and participation in organized recess sports.

Active transportation to school

This section focuses on how the child travels to school: by bicycle, on foot or by car. It also asks about the duration of the travel time and how long the child is moving during this movement.

Exercise behavior in leisure time

Questions on leisure-time exercise behavior focus on playing outside of school and participating in organized activities in the neighborhood.

Sports & swimming certification

This examines whether a child is a member of one or more associations. Questions concern the sport practiced, frequency and duration of activity per week. If the child indicates that they are not in a sport, they are asked which sport they would like to become a member of. This allows a targeted search for a sport for each child.

Information is also gathered about the child's swimming ability, including swimming certificates obtained and any current swimming lessons. Finally, the survey asks if the child participates in other exercise activities, such as scouting or drama.
